Creating a pre-fitted space to work for the landlord and tenant

After the success of our initial project within the building for the landlord (view here), we were appointed to the fit-out for their incoming tenant, Mercieca. We had already created a concept design to help them visualise the space being theirs, which they wanted brought to life.

Our solution

Using our expertise in adapting spaces, we were able to make minimal modifications to the space while making a big impact. Taking on a blank canvas floor, we transformed the space to make it work for Mercieca’s requirements. We added subtle branding through furniture, decorations, and colouring, including joinery booths, desking with acoustic wall panels and a new lounge/ teapoint area.

Installing contemporary furniture in partnership with OW-N elevates the space and creates different environments throughout the floor. We also built new meeting rooms to offer privacy, touch-down desks for informal meetings, and a welcome area to greet guests.

The impact

While the pre-fitted tenant space is distinct, it shares a common design language with the rest of the building. This is testament to the close collaboration and understanding between HOP Works, the landlord, and Mercieca, to make the design and delivery process seamless for all parties. The result is a space that is uniquely Mercieca’s, with creativity oozing from every corner, and an enhanced space for the landlord.
