CloudNC

Having been in their Liverpool Street head office for close to five years, CloudNC wanted to refresh the space to make it work better for their people. The floorplate had a lot of potential, but the current layout wasn’t optimised: they needed a more open space with environments for collaboration between teams, and more options for use flexibility.

The office is a dedicated space to test, refine and improve their software solutions, their very own imagination hub to create technology that is then road-tested in their high spec factory in Chelmsford. Some of the personality and culture from the factory needed to be translated to the London hub, adapting the space so it better aligns to their culture of a forward-thinking, innovative and collaborative scale-up.

We firstly reconfigured the entrance to create a new arrival area and collaboration space for their teams, optimising the space by creating different zones for staff and visitors to work, meet, and relax in. We installed different seating environments such as integrated banquette seating, high perch benches, and lounge seating to create these separate, yet cohesive, collaborative spaces.

Previously lacking a visual identity, CloudNC also wanted to make the space uniquely theirs. Having developed a culture of creativity and collaboration within the space, they wanted the office to match this ethos. We developed a new vibrant and bold colour scheme of bright blues and corals, introduced a more varied material palette with faux planting and joinery, and softened the space with new lighting and curtains.
