Our client needed a fast-track refresh of their work areas and teapoints to enhance functionality and reflect staff feedback. They decided to partner with HOP Works to bring their vision to life with a design-led solution, creating a more efficient and stylish workspace. The refresh will serve as a test run for their future office space, helping them assess what works before their next move.
The project covered all four floors of a 40,000 sq ft office, with identical updates across each level. Delivered within a six-week programme, we developed a detailed week-by-week visual plan to ensure a phased approach, working flexibly around the client’s teams.
With 400 workstations and no available decant space, all works were carried out with furniture in place, minimising disruption while maintaining a clean and organised environment.
Updates included full redecoration and carpet replacement, carefully installed in situ by ReFlooring London using Tarkett carpets. The teapoints on levels one and two were upgraded, with level one extended by repurposing a large storage room.
JUMP Joinery modified and reused existing layouts, introducing a new island and refreshed décor. Feature lighting was added to enhance the teapoints, and we worked with Shaw Flooring to install LVT in these areas for a high-quality finish.
The impact
The fast-track refresh transformed the client’s workspace into a more functional and stylish environment, aligning with staff needs while minimising disruption. This project serves as a valuable test case, informing their future office strategy with real working insights.
