Our client, a London-based real estate investment advisor, had moved to a new space overlooking the prestigious Hanover Square near Bond Street and Oxford Street.
The space needed strategic adaptations to suit our client’s needs while also respecting the constraints of a sub-let agreement.
The brief emphasised maximising the functionality of the existing space, reusing materials wherever possible, and incorporating branding elements.
We prioritised sustainability, smart space planning, and brand integration for this project. Both front-of-house and back-of-house areas were redesigned to suit the client’s needs and aesthetic.
The oversized reception area was reworked by dismantling and rebuilding the reception wall, adding custom cabinetry, and integrating a curved coat storage wall while retaining the feature ceiling. This freed up valuable space for operational needs.
We extended the library into a larger Principal’s Office with enhanced acoustics and storage. The teapoint was moved closer to the boardroom, making space for the office and improving accessibility. The boardroom was relocated behind the reception for better flow and space efficiency.
Back-of-house areas were optimised by reconfiguring oversized offices to fit more desks, adding call pods and print points, and creating a private four-person office for the accounts team.
M&E systems were updated to suit the new layout, with the comms room expanded to meet technical requirements. Subtle branding was added by wrapping furniture in the company’s signature blue, including pieces in the Principal’s Office and teapoint joinery.
The impact
The revamped space is now a tailored, functional environment that reflects our client’s brand identity while meeting their operational needs. By creatively reusing materials and implementing efficient design solutions, we delivered a cost-effective fit-out within a tight five-week timeline. The client now enjoys a workspace that balances aesthetics with practicality, fostering productivity and providing a welcoming environment for both staff and visitors.
